Yoga Teacher Training
Yoga Therapy is the specialised adaptation of Yoga for people with specific health issues. Practices are tailored to the individual client’s particular needs and will combine physical postures, breathing practices and relaxation techniques. Each client will be given a personal practice to do at home and to incorporate into their daily life.

C-IAYT
Yoga Therapy can help individuals physically, mentally and spiritually with a vast range of conditions. Although general yoga classes can improve overall health and even resolve mild conditions, they may not suit or appeal to those needing support for more serious conditions. Yoga Therapy can help by tailoring yoga practices for your individual needs, taking into account your particular health problems, constitution and circumstances.
Mary is a fully qualified Yoga Therapist who will assess your condition at your first private session and work out a personalised programme of yoga practices to meet your individual requirements. She will then teach you these specific practices to help you with your condition. Don’t worry: no prior experience of yoga is needed.
You will then be invited to a short series of 1-2-1 yoga sessions or a small group class and you will also be given all the support and encouragement you need to practise at home for maximum benefit to your health. Your progress will be monitored and your practices reviewed to ensure they are helping.
You should expect to experience a marked improvement in many conditions within the first few weeks, with health benefits continuing with regular practice.
